UFO MOTHERSHIP IN LONDON, UK ON JUNE 24th 2011

Well, Londoners seem to be in action on Friday when the partly cloudy skies of UK became host of White glowing disc like objects or UFOs with a mother ship That came around a few times from the clouds to show her beauty  and maybe to call her baby objects/ships, saying 'Time to go home boys'  ;).
The first time I saw the video, I said 'Ha! FAKE!'. But then after watching a few times more and seeing the random passing by people stopping and looking up as there is actually something and the fact that the movement like such has to be some sort of hovering object made me realize that it could be real. Here is the video



Yeah it sort of looks like fake, for the fact that, why did the cameraman walked to the edge of  the road where everyone else was watching. But then I thought that I should have done the same thing. To avoid being called fake. He/she came to the busiest part of the road to let the viewers know that hey! I am not the only delusional bloke over here. And surely many people started to look up by every passing second.

What? Not convinced? I wasn't either. But then another video from some other part of London captured the same Objects on camera. Watch this





You can hear the Japanese people back there saying something quite fast and saying something like Look at that. Now I though that hey! maybe it is for real,

So still to  prove some reliability to the news, I thought that maybe someone else had captured it as well, other than the people in the above videos. So, I got another one. Same day, and of course in London



Now, maybe many of you had changed your mind, accepting that maybe it is real. But in these time when you can make movies like Transformers :) (going to see it on Thursday 30th June). You can make a few object appear in the sky easily. I am still doubtful, but just by 20% that it could be fake....but still I have a few questions from the person, who made the first video.

WE CAN SEE A LOT OF PEOPLE MAKING VIDEOS AT THAT TIME....WHY DID ONLY THIS VIDEO COMES ONLINE...IS HE/SHE HAS A LOT OF EXTRA TIME (10 MINUTES) TO GO ONLINE AND UPLOAD HIS VIDEO WHILE OTHERS THINK ON THE CONTRARY. WHERE ARE THE OTHER VIDEOS??

WHY NOT SELL IT TO SOME NEWS CHANNEL??

IS HE/SHE AFRAID THAT THEY MIGHT GET CAUGHT OF SELLING EDITED/FAKE VIDEO?

You might come to know in a few days that it was a combined project of some fanatics who randomly shot the skies of Landon from different places and then edited it. You might not!

And maybe after getting a 100,000 views or more, some people would come out Claiming to have made these videos, using adobe or some other software.

But there are some people who are determined that IT IS REAL!!. Here is one video in which one person ran the video through different color filters and claims that the video is in no way edited, because there are no rough edges in the mother ship. Clock on the video to go to youtube to read what the guy has to say on the filtered results.

This might help a bit. You see in such filtered videos, any computer generated graphics especially round objects tend to show polygonal characteristics, like hexagonal or octagonal shapes. You can see yourself that there aren't any distinctive edges of the mother ship. Hats Off to this guy, to go through the pain of filtering the video!.

Well its upto you now to decide if its fake or real. I actually hope that one day we are actually attacked by Aliens so that the world gets united once again and stand on one common ground, even if it happens for the one last time (Independence Day the movie). Ooooh! 4th of July is coming as well.

Just kidding people. No seriously, it would be fun right? ;)

WE ARE LOSING AXIS HERE!!

According to the Italian-based National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology, the magnitude 8.9 earthquake that struck Japan in March, caused the axis of  our planet to shift by approximately ten centimetres. Experts believe that "this has [shifted] the axis of rotation of the Earth [further] than the 2004 earthquake in Sumatra."

According to La Nación, the impact of the Japanese earthquake caused an energy release one hundred times larger than that of the one in Haiti. Leading the research at the National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology, Antonio Piersanti stated that "[o]ur estimate is not derived from direct measurements, which require much more time, but theoretical calculations.”
Richard Gross, of NASA's Jet Propulsion Lab, was responsible for discovering the extent to which the planet's axis hd been shifted by the Chile Earthquake in 2010. He claimed that there "should be no impact [from] this change in rotation on daily life."
Gross explained: "Although we have not evaluated the measurements of the Earth's rotation, my calculations indicate that the change in the distribution of land masses caused by the Japanese earthquake may have caused the Earth to rotate a little faster, shortening the length of day about 1.6 microseconds." He said that despite the fact that "[t]his change in the position of the axis of rotation will cause the Earth to wobble a bit different[ly] as it rotates," the planet's axis would not alter in Space.
The source is an Spanish paper related to the Japanese earthquake, but the point of writing all this here is that if one earthquake of 8.9 can change our axis point, we should not forget that earth is millions if not billions of year old. And also, have you ever seen a dangling chair? That dangles on just one foot for some time, balanced, would be an appropriate word, and then.....Bam! it topples down. What if earth has a limit as well? What if earth might is a meter away from toppling? They say that the Chilean and the Haiti earthquake affected the earth’s axis. What if a few more of these.... and we are done for it. It’s just some food for thought for you people. Ask your government to look into it, before it is too late

Pirates of Somalia

Last week, a ship known as MV Suez, was freed from the Somalian Pirates after 10 months. Around 21 people were fugitive of these pirates in the Mediterranean. All the fugitives had lost their hope in their governments as the pirates had demanded a ransom amount of $2.1 million and no one thought they should spend some of their leisure money on these poor fellow earthlings. 21 people and $2.1 million, a hundred thousand dollar for each person, but no one was willing to pay for them, not any NGOs either.

But suddenly, out of the blue, a country considered to be harvesting terrorists, giving a hideout for Osama, stood up to save these poor human beings from the agony. The rescue was a combined effort of a welfare organization, the government of Sindh and Pakistan Navy. The Welfare organization 'Ansar Burney Trust' gathered $2.1 million in 10 days and freed the fugitives, what should have been done 10 months ago by any government of the world, Indian, Egypt or considerably US or UK, the Pioneers of Humanity. But, it was done by the government that had just suffered a Rs. 6 billion loss on 22nd of May, 2011 and is spending a lot fighting terrorism as well.

But look at the Irony. The countries that asks the Pakistani Government to do more against terrorism is fighting against just one dictator in Libya. Rather than going against these pirates for killing and robbing people on ships, which is, in simple words an Open Act of Terrorism, who still have more than 20 ships captured and are due for the ransom, they opt to spend billions of dollars, fighting off one man in one country. Instead of bombing these pirates in open sea, they think its better to bomb a city with innocent civilians in it. Recently 9 innocent civilians by the air assualt on Libya.

All we can do or should do is to request the officials of these governments to look upon this pirates problem and try to completely obliterate these Terrorists of the face of the sea and do something about these 20 above ships that are still under the control of these pirates. It wont even kill a single civilian and for once the world might be united for one cause.

Watch Out For The Full Moon

Alright everyone, keep your eyes on the skies today, cause today an event is going to happen that is not seen for over a century.

Its not going to be a meteor shower nor a UFO is passing across our skies. Its a Total Eclipse of the Moon. So whats so important about this eclipse. Well for one, its a Total Eclipse, which means that the Moon is going to be swallowed completely into darkness. Its going to start at 1400 GMT and Last till 0000 GMT. The other noticeable thing about this eclipse is that its going to be a 1 in century eclipse. Yes this is going to be the longest Eclipse (w.r.t time) of this century.

So all you space enthusiasts, feel lucky that you are not going to die before something good and worth watching happens in Space. I on the other hand wish that I am alive till the Halley's comet arrives (2065) :).

Looks Like I Missed One!

Last week i wrote about the new summer blockbusters for 2011. I discussed five movies, but I guess I missed one that mu mind said that might fail to impress. Boy was I wrong! I m talking about the new J J Abrams and Speilberg cocreation 'Super 8'

Set in 1979, "Super 8" tells the story of a group of kids who are filming a home movie when there's a violent train crash. When unexplained events start to threaten their town, they begin to suspect something inhuman escaped from the train. The film stars Joel Courtney, Elle Fanning, Kyle Chandler, Ryan Lee, Riley Griffiths, Gabriel Basso and Zach Mills.

he period sci-fi pic -- directed by Abrams and produced by Spielberg -- officially rolls out Friday in 3,379 theaters, following sneak previews at 329 locations Thursday. Amid decidedly muted advance buzz, its performance this weekend is the subject of heated speculation among insiders.

Paramount, which maintains that the $50 million film doesn't need a big opening weekend, is predicting a debut in the $25 million to $30 million range. It will vie for honors with "X-Men: First Class," which debuted last weekend to $55.1 million. The superhero sequel enjoyed strong midweek business, with a total of $69.9 million through Wednesday.

The film might have earned a lot more if proper advertising or promotion was done. The film is mysterious in regards to story and the way its earning

Whats with NewZealand

It is understood that as the time will pass the frequency of earthquake's occurrence would increasing. But whats wrong with the beautiful country of New Zealand? 
New Zealand had faced a number of Earthquakes this year. Especially its one of the biggest cities like Christ church.

A series of strong quakes, including a 6.0-magnitude tremor, rocked New Zealand's stricken Christchurch Monday, causing one building to collapse and prompting evacuations.

Power company Orion said electricity had been cut to 54,000 homes. The US Geological Survey measured the latest quake at a depth of nine kilometres (5.6 miles) and some 14 kilometres from the country's second largest city.

It is a common perception that Japan would be the one country that would be wiped off of the face of the world due to Earthquakes, but to me it looks like New Zealand thats gonna vanish (I wish that never happens). Scientist should now start investigating the reasons for these medium to strong range of earthquakes. Four Months ago NZ faced huge tremors and 181 people were killed. Then another earthquake within 4 months (with some small to medium scale tremors in between before this one) is quite alarming.

Watch out for the FLARE!!

An unusual solar flare observed by a NASA space observatory on Tuesday could cause some disruptions to satellite communications and power on Earth over the next day or so, officials said.

The potent blast from the Sun unleashed a firestorm of radiation on a level not witnessed since 2006, and will likely lead to moderate geomagnetic storm activity by Wednesday, according to the National Weather Service.

"This one was rather dramatic," said Bill Murtagh, program coordinator at the NWS's Space Weather Prediction Center, describing the M-2 (medium-sized) solar flare that peaked at 1:41 am Eastern time in the United States, or 0541 GMT. "We saw the initial flare occurring and it wasn't that big but then the eruption associated with it -- we got energy particle radiation flowing in and we got a big coronal mass injection," he said.

"You can see all the materials blasting up from the Sun so it is quite fantastic to look at." NASA's solar dynamics observatory, which launched last year and provided the high-definition pictures and video of the event, described it as "visually spectacular," but noted that since the eruption was not pointed directly at Earth, the effects were expected to remain "fairly small."

"The large cloud of particles mushroomed up and fell back down looking as if it covered an area of almost half the solar surface," said a NASA statement. "In a day or so from now we are expecting some of that material to impact us here on Earth and create a geomagnetic storm," he said. "We don't expect it to be any kind of a real severe one but it could be kind of a moderate level storm."

The Space Weather Prediction Center said the event is "expected to cause G1 (minor) to G2 (moderate) levels of geomagnetic storm activity tomorrow, June 8, beginning around 1800 GMT." As many as 12 satellites and spacecraft are monitoring the heliosphere, and one instrument in particular on board NASA's lunar reconnaissance orbiter is measuring radiation and its effects.

New Summer BlockBusters

Alright people.....lets see what are the next summer blockbusters for summer 2011.

It is a common thinking among people that whenever the summer of an year is full of Block Busters, they are always disappointed. There is one problem with this summer, So many sequels!! which was the reason, the summer 2010 was a failure.

1) Green Lantern

Releasing on 17th June, The Green Super Hero takes on the silver screen. Ryan Reynolds is now a DC super hero with some other known names of Hollywood like Mark Strong (Kick A**), and Blake Lively. There are two things people are anticipating: The Green Lantern's Oath and the Showdown b/w Hal Jordan and Sinitro.

2) The Hangover II

Releasing in the first week of June, one of the most anticipated comedies of this summer. People are expecting to see a whole new plot of the wolfpack, but not to disappoint, just to warn them; the movie is not so much different form the first. The movie is supposed to do good business as Hollywood Pundits are saying.

3) Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows (Part 2)

My very favorite and personally awaited movie. I am ready to bet my blog that this movie is going to take over the Summer 2011. Releasing in July the movie is the final film for the franchise. I am also sure that movie is going to land, atleast 3 Oscars nominations and probably one win as well, this year. Looking forward to the final Battle at Hogwarts.

4) Transformers: The Dark Of The Moon

Another very highly anticipated sequel for 2011, the movie which is missing Megan Fox, is going to be released on 1st July. The rest of the crew is same. The best thing about the movie is the director Michael Bay(Knowing). I am sure this is the kind of action SyFy people have been waiting for.

5) Kung Fu Panda 2

The brilliant action/comedy fun pack sequel brings back Jack Blak(Nacho Libre, King Kong, Tropic Thunder), Angelina Jolie(Do i have to mention any movie?), Seth Rogen(Pineapple express), Jackie Chan(Moives? Seriously?), Lucu Liu, Gary Oldman(HP3, Dark Knight), and many more. This movie brings action comedy and Kung fu together in one box. The movie is releasing on 10th June
