SEOUL: LG Electronics says it will release the first dual-core smartphone next month in Korea, followed soon after by releases in Europe and other Asian countries. The company did not indicate a release plan for the Optimus 2X in the United States.
The new smartphone will run Nvidia's Tegra 2 system-on-a-chip (SoC) that includes two ARM cores with a clock speed of 1 GHz, according to an LG press release published Thursday. The company is claiming the dual-core processor will deliver higher performance and play video and games smoother than devices powered with single-core chips.
The march to multiple cores in smartphones is important as the devices take on more tasks once left to PCs, giving consumers more reasons to turn to the handheld device instead of a laptop. "Dual-core technology is the next leap forward in mobile technology so this is no small achievement to be the first to offer a smartphone utilizing this technology," Jong-seok Park, chief executive and president of LG Electronics Mobile Communications, says in the release.

TERROR FROM ABOVE!!
We have always heard off different threats space poses us. Let it be cosmic rays, asteroids, meteoroids or UV rays. Today we will discuss about the statics about the asteroids, that may collide with our planet within hundred years. we will be discussing the probability and time of the collision of the asteroids and their different sizes.
This time ther is a lineup. We will start with the most likely collision to least likely....U know wat I mean ;D
ASTEROID, Size (diameter in feets), Probability of Impact ,When it could hit
1. 2000 SG344 121 1/770 2068-2073
2. 101955 1999 RQ36 1837 ;o 1/1400 2169-2199
3. 2000 VK184 427 1/3000 2048-2057
4. 2006 QV89 98 1/3100 2019-2042
5. 2008 CK70 102 1/3500 2030-2031
6. 1979 XB 2254 1/3 million 2056-2086
7. 2010 AR85 3609 1/53 million 2015-2106
The 2010 AR85 is the most recently discovered asteroid and may collide us in 2015 and look at the size people!!!! 3609 feet diameter...:O ................Phew! the probability saves us.....1 in 53 million....But the size reminds me of the blockbuster movie ARMAGEDDON!

Smallest Car ever to hit the road
Last time I did a topic on the car, it was about some of the best cars of the world....Now its the other way round.
Lets see what we have, if we talk about the smallest car...
Lets see what we have, if we talk about the smallest car...
The Peel 50, purchased by Ripley's Believe It Or Not! in early 2009, weighs only 130 lbs., and is the smallest car ever approved for street use. The Manx Peel Engineering Co. built about 50 of them in the early 1960s, and only a few of them remain to this day. With two wheels in front, one in back, the Peel 50 hits a top speed approaching 40 miles an hour. Maybe that's a little slow, but how fast do you want to go in a car that probably weighs less than you do?
If any guys out there are wondering how good this car is for picking up chicks. Consider this: It only has room for the driver and a small bag.

MR. BEAN WOULD LOVE TO HAVE ONE... WONT HE?? dud da dud dud daaaa (I'm imitating mr. bean.....com'on people!!)
2. Enough for the tall strange car, today the Briton Andy Saunders decided to bring us one of the world's smallest car. First to spend 240 pounds to buy a 17-year-old Fiat 126, then he and two friends spent three days this time to modify the old car.

NOW FOR THE CHEAPEST CAR!
1. Chinese automaker Geely will soon usurp Tata Motors' crown as producer of the world's Cheapest Car. Geely is developing its own mini car, called the Gleagle IG, that will be even more affordable than Tata’s Nano (Not for Many ;-D ). With a $2,250 price tag, it beats the Nano by almost a grand.
2. Now here's a car one would like to buy, it comes in just five figures....99,999 Indian rupee that is. I am sure everyone like to have one.....
MAY BE NOT!!!
Especially if your cheapest car catches fire cheaply and burn to ground without any reason. The guy in the top left smaller pic is the owner of the brand new car...How do i know if the car is brand new....look at the flowers hanging from the bonnet of the car.
Stay tuned for more...

HOLY HOLES!!
Below are some of the biggest and most magnificent holes on earth
1. Darvaza (Door) - The Burning Gates:
In 1971, geologists discovered a huge underground deposit of natural gas on this site. And while excavating, a whole drilling rig fell into an underground cavern. Natural gas started coming up from the hole. To prevent gasses from escaping, it was set alight and it continues to burn even today. The crater measures roughly 60 meters in diameter and 20 meters deep and is located in Turkmenistan.

3. Isn't This view mesmerizing?? For me it is. It feel likes seeing the top of heaven through Google earth.;-))
Thats the Great Blue Hole, Belize
Situated 60 miles off the mainland of Belize is this incredible geographical phenomenon known as a blue hole. There are numerous blue holes around the world but none as stunning as this one. About 60 miles from Belize City, there is a perfectly circular 1,000 (305 m) feet across and 400 feet (123 m) wide deep.

4. This one looks a bit Hellish... well it was for the people there...In 2007, this 300-foot-deep sinkhole swallowed about a dozen homes in Guatemala City.

5. Located in northern California, the Monticello Dam has this one of the biggest holes in the world. This funnel-shaped outlet, allows water to bypass the dam when it reaches capacity, as it allows water to pass through at a rate of 48,400 cubic feet per second. how about a dive in it. It would take more than nearly 3 minutes to reach the bottom

2. The Kimberley Diamond mine (also known as the Big Hole) is an open-pit mine in Kimberley, South Africa and is claimed to be the largest hole excavated by hand. This 1097 meter deep mine yielded over 6,000 lb of diamonds before being closed in 1914.

Navy Railgun can shoot at a projectile at a speed of Mach 7
This one railgun by the Navy can also fire projectiles, at an out-of-the-barrel speed of Mach 7 (approximately 5,000 miles per hour).
A railgun is powered by electricity, and accelerates a conductive projectile along a pair of metal rails. The current interacts with the magnetic fields generated by the rails and this speeds the projectile on its very fast way.
In case you are wondering, these projectiles have to be specially made in order to prevent them from melting from the air friction. By the way, it takes 33 Megajoules of energy to fire this gun.
